All the Way to Impact.

We don’t disappear after the strategy deck. We’re in it through the build, and the results below prove it. Challenge, approach, platform, outcome, every time.

JAX: Embedded Partnership, a Lasting Platform

Challenge→Approach→Platform→Outcome

The Jackson Laboratory (JAX), a nonprofit leader in mouse genetics research, partnered with TLR+ to solve a problem at the core of preclinical science. More than half of published animal studies can’t be reliably reproduced, largely because traditional monitoring only captures isolated moments and misses the transient biological responses that unfold over time.

TLR+ worked with JAX senior leadership to define a multi-year initiative, forming a 25-person team spanning hardware, computer vision, data infrastructure, AI, and user applications to build JAX Envision, a cloud-based platform that uses validated, AI-enhanced computer vision to continuously track animal behavior and physiology. After three years of iterative testing with a consortium of global pharma stakeholders, TLR+ led the go-to-market launch; JAX now owns the platform and its commercialization, while TLR+ continues under contract to operate the technology, advance the science, and manage the consortium.

In one study, Envision’s continuous monitoring uncovered dose-dependent disease progression in a Rett syndrome model that was completely undetectable using the field’s standard scoring method—proof of what this kind of embedded, long-term partnership can produce.

PLT: Technology and AI That Fits the Workflow

Challenge→Platform→Outcome

Precision Livestock Technologies (PLT) is a prime example of how TLR+ builds entire platforms, not just point solutions. TLR+ started by understanding the market opportunity: where the gaps were in how cattle feeders operated, what products could fill them, and how to connect those products with the right customers. The facts are: skilled labor is scarce, manual data entry is error-prone, and human observation in the feedlot is inherently unreliable. But the harder challenge wasn’t the technology itself—it was that farmers already had an established way of feeding cattle, and any new system would meet real resistance to change. That’s why TLR+ built PLT’s machine-vision platform with that constraint at the center of the design, ensuring it wasn’t just a more capable product but one that fit naturally into existing workflows. This platform monitors feed bunks and feeding behavior around the clock, turning raw camera data into real-time alerts operators can act on, delivering the accuracy of continuous machine vision without asking farmers to abandon the way they already work. The result is a system that replaces guesswork with continuous, data-driven decisions across bunk management, cattle performance tracking, and early health detection, giving feedlot operators the kind of visibility that was never possible with manual observation alone.

Giga-Project Scale · CRO Platform

Giga-Project-Scale Health Initiative

Challenge→Platform→Outcome

TLR+ partnered on a giga-project-scale health initiative to build something that didn’t yet exist: a predictive and personalized contract research organization (CRO) platform that integrates best-in-class scientific technologies. Together, they’re creating a data-driven system that helps design and test new medicines faster, and with a much better chance of success, before they even reach human trials. The goal is to make this initiative a world leader in getting new medicines from the earliest research stage all the way to first human studies. The project’s region offered a genuinely unique opportunity: a rich, diverse population genetic dataset, a strong research and clinical community, and the freedom to build fresh, modern systems instead of being held back by legacy technology. TLR+ is helping build both the platform and the team behind it, training local scientists directly on the technology so that expertise and ownership, not just the infrastructure, stay local. As the program matures, that platform and trained team become fully rooted in the region, creating a homegrown capability built to last well beyond any single project.
